I booked a ticket for two days later.

Dear all,

Suppose I booked a ticket for a movie for 16.10.2021. But because of some inconvenience I cancelled it, and re-booked it for 18.10.2021. In this context, could you please tell me which of the following sentence is correct. If they are incorrect, please tell me a natural way to express the idea.

1) I booked a ticket for two days later.

2) I booked a ticket for a movie for 16.10.2021, but because of some inconvenience I postponed it for 18.10.2021.

Top answer

cat navy 425 1) I booked a ticket for two days later. Fine. 2021.

  • cat navy 425 1) I booked a ticket for two days later.
  • Fine.
  • 2021.
  • In my opinion, "some inconvenience" doesn't work.
  • I'm not sure if "a schedule conflict" is appropriate because I don't know the cause of the postponement.
