I arrived home as though walking into the home

I've re-edit this part, is it correct?

When I was probably surrounded by many friends and it was all very nice and I really recall the moment when I arrived home as though walking into the home, it was quiet and I've been waiting for that moment, I wanted my peace of mind.

anonymous I arrived home as though walking into the home This part doesn't make sense. If you walk in, you have arrived. It's the same thing.
