I am/was sorely tempted to say it's more like a 'Guess what I had in my mind' game.

It may look like a Fibonacci sequence but it's not. I am/was sorely tempted to say it's more like a 'Guess what I had in my mind' game and thus, it's not a worth attending question.

Hi native speakers,

Could you please help me to correct the sentences above?

Thanks.

You're welcome. Emotion: smile

BTW, do you use the word 'sorely' in everyday conversation?

Thanks again.

ILEBTW, do you use the word 'sorely' in everyday conversation?
Well, the need to use it does not arise everyday, but it is in common use. Also the adjective form is used:

My old man was really sore.

= My father was angry.
