I am wondered

Hi

I am still confused about this, I know that if you have a request and want to tell it in polite way you can use it like 'I am wondered if you could advise me about this matter' ... but I also heard many people saying that during their conversation but there is no request... they say 'I wondered why...', 'I just wondered...'

what is the difference between these phrases and also how phrases like I am wondered, I was wondered and I am wondering are different?

Thank you so much
