As well as making money, businesses also have social responsibilities. Do you agree or disagree

It is widely debated that companies should be responsible for following social duties as well as gaining profits. Personally, I totally agree with that point because of a multitude of reasons.

Firstly, businesses would develop more sustainably if they are in charge of social responsibilities. In detail, the majority of companies use resources from existing nature to operate so they have to play a vital role to protect the environment. Travelling industry can be an ideal example here, exostic destinations, stunning coastlines and breathtaking views would attract a large number of customers. If these destinations suffer a ton of garbage, there will not be any visitors spending money to enjoy the views. So that the entrepreneurs should care for conserving pristine beauty so the companies would draw more people to visit.

In addition, companies having a strong sense of social care also help strengthen communities. In particular, the more wealthy the population are, the more prosperous the businesses become because customers have higher financial abilities to afford necessities to expensive things. Moreover, in some circumstances, when societies suffer difficulties, Covid-19 for instance, enterprises should pay more attention to poverty-stricken families or donate money for vaccine funds. Thanks to the companies’ contribution, the societies become normal sooner so customers continue to support businesses again.

In conclusion, besides building strategies to earn money, companies also take care of social responsibilities. In my own opinion, businesses are developed based on society from natural sources to better-off communities so I completely agree with the view.
