I am trying to form a sentence or two to describe the following
(i) I helped somebody very close with lots of money when they were having a tough time. (ii) They agreed in writing to repay me at a later date when their situation changed.
(iii) When the good times rolled in, I went and asked for my money back. (iv) They denied their liability (v) Not only that they have even gone to the extent of smearing a bad name for me.
I want to explain to a very special person in a sentence or two, that I am the victim here. They are the bad guys.
