I am struggling to understand perfect tenses. Please help me understand those sentences

When I listen to a song that I have been listening to in the past I usually remember what I have been doing while I have been listening to it before.

Is that sentence correct? Have I made any mistakes with the perfect tenses?

And also: I couldn't open the door because I brought the wrong key. or it is I couldn't open the door because I have brought the wrong key.

I just get confused with the perfect tenses. I am waiting for you answers. Thank you.
