In the developed country world, average life expectancy is increasing . What problems will this cause for individuals and society ? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations. Increasing life expectancy is becoming more and more concern in industrialized countries . As the result several related problems can be anticipated and this essay will tackle the most important ones. First and foremost, among the numerous reasons for issue above the most remarkable one is that it is will be a burden of government economy. There are more people of retirement age. It means that government will have to spend considerable a mount of money granting a pension. Young people have to be responsible for the older in their family so they may ought to stay at home and look after their relative that leading to the number of working adults decrease so government will receive less money in tax in relation to the size of population. From medical perspective , another pressure is that government also have to enhance health care and hospital services to ensure the elderly people will have better care. However, there are various measure to mitigate the issue described above. Firstly , Government should have appropriate policies to create simple jobs and encourage the elderly people who is from 60 to 70 years old, still have enough health to continue productive working life . A second measure would be for government to reduce money from areas and spend on vital healthcare , accommodation. It can help government diminish financial pressure. In conclusion, a range of measures can be taken to deal with the problems that are certain to arise as the population of countries grow older
