I am looking for a word or phrase to describe

my ability to recognize which issues I can easily resolve by myself versus issues that will require the assistance of my co-workers.

For example, I work in customer service and I have to deal with a numerous phone calls every day. I am able to save time by helping many customers that have minor issues with their software. And I can also make sure that customers with more complex issues are being helped by promptly transferring those customers to my supervisor and to tier 2 customer support. This way all customers are helped.

I am looking for the appropriate word or a short sentence that describes this.
