I am living in France for three years

Hello....

Some people say that "I'm living in France for three years." is wrong and it should be "I have lived in Frace for three years".

Is this true?
Or, Maybe this is some kind of grammar-free zone?

If you began your residence three years ago and are still there, then "I am living in France for three years" is wrong. You need "I have lived in France for three years" or "I have been living in France for three years". pructus Maybe this is some kind of grammar-free zone?

It's not impossible if said while you are in the middle of a three-year stay in France, or indeed if you have arranged a future stay of three years in France.

It can be another way of saying, "I will be living in France for three years".

If your are still staying in France, then I believe it should be "I have been living in France for 3 years." It is a past continuous form.
