Can "I am in disbelief" have a positive connotation or it's always negative?

I never say "I am in disbelief." I've never heard a native English speaker say it, either.

I am a Cubs fan. My team has never won the championship.

The Cubs won the World Series. I am shocked! I can't believe it!
