I am going to the kitchen to make tea and sandwiches.

Hi

Could you please tell me if this informal conversation sounds natural to your native ears, especially the yellow parts? Any suggestions are welcome.

Host: I'm going to the kitchen to make tea and sandwiches. If you like you can join me there. Or you can sit here and read a magazine.

Guest: I think I'll just sit here and see the magazines.

Host: Fine. I won't be long.

Thanks,

Tom

I think instead of "join me" you can say "help me" and instead of "see the magazines" you can say "read the magazines".

You are correct that is wrong. I meant it to read make/fetch some sandwiches.

Thanks for noticing my mistake.
