I am going to apply for phd program. Could u plz correct my letter

It is a great honor to write to you. I am writing to you in order to find a suitable doctoral position in your esteemed research group. I have completed my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Specialization with First Class (GPA 3.73 out of 4.0) in Eastern University, Sri Lanka. In August 2017, I will graduate with a Master’s degree in University of Sri Jayawardenapura, Sri Lanka.
During my academic years, I performed researches on Influential Factors on Generating Word-of-Mouth and Fast Food Consumption. These research experiences provided me with the training and skills for performing more research studies.
After my graduation, I have been working as an Assistant Lecturer at Eastern University, Sri Lanka, where I am teaching courses on Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Project Management and Advanced Marketing Research. I gained further understanding of academic principles and practical experience.
In order to fulfill my ambition of becoming lecturer, I look forward to further my education as a doctoral student in your group.
I have built a strong background in condensed matter marketing and your program covers areas of research that matches my interests. In addition, diligence, persistence, cooperation and honesty are my intrinsic personalities. I am confident that I will be suitable for your research team.
