I am glad, because you came here.

1) I am glad, because you came here.

I saw the sentence and I was wondering if I can write I am glad because you came here (without the comma) or I am glad that you came here for the same meaning?

2) This is great, because I can show my children the lifestyle of our ancestors.

I also saw this sentence and again can I write This is great because I can show my children the lifestyle of our ancestors or This is great that I can show my children the lifestyle of our ancestors for the same meaning.

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

I saw the sentence and I was wondering if I can write I am glad because you came here (without the comma) or I am glad that you came here for the same meaning? I think the comma is completely unnecessary. The gladness follows immediately in response to the arrival.

  • I think the comma is completely unnecessary.
  • The gladness follows immediately in response to the arrival.
  • I also saw this sentence and again can I write This is great because I can show my children the lifestyle of our ancestors or This is great that I can show my children the lifestyle of our ancestors for the same meaning.
  • Here the comma makes more sense, though again it is unnecessary.
