I am getting up at six tomorrow morning

Hello everyone. I have a question.

Regarding the following two sentences:

(A) I am going to get up at six tomorrow morning.

(B) I am getting up at six tomorrow morning.

Can (B) successfully replace (A)? I mean, I know that in general, we can use the present progressive tense when we want to talk about something that is going to happen in the near future. However, the sentence (B) sounds a little strange to my ear. What do you think?
