I am confused between ON & IN

Can I say "There is an error on Credit card application"?
Can I say "The error in Windows 7 need to be solved before the end of the day"?
Can I say "Don't use this flash drive, because there is a virus in/inside it"?
Can I say "There is a missing drive in our new windows server"?
