What's the difference here if I'm trying to describe a hypotheticals situation. Are both OK and the same meaning:
"Let's just say that if you don't make as much money as you do now you wouldnt be saying the same thing to me now."
Vs.
"If you didn't make as much money as you did now you wouldn't be saying the same thing to me now."
