Hypotheses about English pronunciation

Hi: what wound the letter "y" be pronounced in "studys" and "carrys"? (the correct form should be studies and carries). I post this stupid question here in order to confirm some of my hypotheses about verb conjugation and pronunciation. And i'd be much appreciated if you could list all possible answers, no matter how weird. Thank you very much and have a nice day.
