Hyphenation and suffixes

I have found different opinions about hyphenation and suffixes.

Which is the recommended way: "price-less" or "priceless".

I believe you cannot find the hyphenated version in any dictionary.

There are a number of words which were once hyphenated, but which are now written as one word. However, priceless (as one word) seems to have been the standard spelling for at least 200 years. There seems to be no good reason to hyphenate it now.
