Hyphen vs comma to connect two adjectives

Hi everyone,

i do know comma is needed to connect two adjectives that change the same noun

For example, "he has a bad, sour experience with that girl"

does it mean i can also change that coma with hyphen? because it can be used to link two adjectives that describing the same noun.

For example, "he has a bad-sour experience with that girl"

Thanks everyone
