Hyphen in its name
Hi. Please help. I think a famous dish in Korea called "samgye-tang" (I saw the name as it is written online) is translated as "ginseng chicken soup" in English. Now, what is the reason for a hyphen in the Korean name "samgye-tang"?

It is quite probably arbitrary, i.e. just an author's choice. There seems to be no universally established way of writing this in English.
