Hello: I check my Longman dictionary, and find the following information:

place: peaceful, calm, sleepy, tranquil
completely quiet: silent, you could hear a pin drop
what you say when you want someone to be quiet: sh, shut up not polite, be quiet, keep it down BrE informal

I would be very grateful if someone can tell me the difference between a low voice and a hushed voice.

A low voice could have two meanings: one is the same as a hushed voice, or speaking quietly. The other is how it sounds - like the sound a bassoon makes being lower than an oboe. Some people have a naturally higher voice than others and some a lower voice.

Hi,

I'd like to add a comment.

a low voice These words mainly focus on describing the physical sound.

a hushed voice The word 'hushed' has a strong social component. A hushed voice is how you might speak to the person beside you in a church or a theatre, somewhere there is an expectation that you should not speak
