Hurt injure damage

Hi.

What are the differences between hurt, injure and damage?

what I know is that hurt is both transitive and intransitive but damage and injure are just transitive.

damage can be used for inanimate objects but hurt and injure are just used for animate beings. Am I right?

Would you give me some differences of injure and hurt when they are used as transtive both?

Thanks
