Hunger rumble

Hello,

is the term "hunger rumble" correct? I saw it somewhere on the Internet, but it isn't in any of my dictionaries.

And is it correct to say "The sight of pizza caused a hunger rumble in my stomach"/"The sight of pizza caused pangs of hunger rumble in my stomach?"

I think your phrase is good and I understood it - but that phrase is not widely used. It's more usual to say 'stomach rumbling', 'stomach growl', or the scientific name is 'borborygmus' (although few people will know what that last one means)
