hung up on or with or from?

Guys I always pause when it comes to prepositions.

Today, I wanted to say to my friend " I just hung up with Mike" then I paused. I didn't know which preposition to use in this case.

It's really frustrating. I hope someone can teach me a simple rule to follow each time I get stuck in this kind of situation.
