Humanity vs Technical Innovation is my topic.

I have to hand out my composition assigned in the IELSTS courses this weekend,but I am not confident if the organization and the grammar in this writing enables me to get A.so please I hope some kind teachers and people who are interesed in English learning could give me some decent advices about how I can modify it.

the topic I was chosen to talk about is Humanity has made little real progress over the past century or so.Techonological innovations have taken place,but the overall condition of humanity is no better.War ,inviolence,and poverty are still with us.Technology cannt change the condition of humanity.

my response to the main point of this topic is as follows:

what is human progress? It is an improvement of humans living conditions and of the humans themselves.as a result of such improvements,humans will become physically more comfortable and spiritually kinder to each other. the questions by what means humanity can make a progress?


Centuries ago,our ancestors started to believe that the techological innovations would have brought about the revolutions in human beings living conditions.ever since,they put in a gread deal of efforts in pursuit of ingenious inventions.the techological revolution has undergone from then.the mass production of automoblie and the development of other vehicles illustrate this point.As a consequence, techonoligical innovations taken place every year.the dramatic progress in science and techology has been observed in the last decades,along with it the human itself progressed as well.


Some people say that although significant technical evolutions have been in progress, the humanity of the world seems like stopping. So they believe that progress in technology does not good to humanity of the world. I don’t agree with what they say.

It is almost apparently that the more advanced technology a country has, the higher level the humanity of the country would be. First of all, innovations in technology mean leading ways of producing and management which prove high revenues from other countries. With healthy financial condition, a country could make better budget and invest money to improve humanity. Second, a developed country tends to bring excellent education, which plays an imperative role in improving fields of society, including humanity. Take USA as an instance, it is known to all that USA is the most advanced country in the world, and also has the high level humanity conditions. Depending on the large profits earning by leading technology, USA can put large money in humanity protection. What is more, most high educated people guarantee the process.

On the contrary, low level humanity is always associated with poverty, war and violence which are rooted back from disabled technology. Undeveloped technology means ineffective, less efficient ways of producing which make productions uncompetitive and cause poverty and violence. It is reported that many African countries involved in wars are poor countries with low level technology.

How to improve humanity of the world more efficiently? One point is that the wealthy countries should do much to help the poor countries, perhaps in all kinds of fields, especially in finance and technology, just like what the recent G8 conference suggested. Another point is that UN should take more responsibility to aid the poor countries, stop wars and support in humanity all around the world.

In conclusion, technical innovation is continuously pushing humanity forward. Better technology, better humanity.

when I completed it and looked back on, i can feel that its a tough part for me to explain the relationships among war,violence and poverty.....I had completely neglected to response to it.i had wanted to say that poverty is the basic of poor humanity. violence, war are rooted in it.

Could anyone give me some better outlines?
