I translated these two paragraphs of a story outline (?) which is translated from English. I now translated it back to English. Please read and correct mistakes and do anything you think is right to make it better. Thanks.
Huck, the adopted son of the widow, is fed up with civilized life. One day, he slips out of his home and meets his friend Tom Sawyer. They decide to organize a gang. Soon afterwards, the town’s people discover a body in the river, which they assume is that of Huck’s father, a drunkard who didn’t have a job for a living. Huck, however, does not believe and expects one day his father will come back home and tyrannize him. He is annoyed with Tom’s gang. Their games are boring and not to his taste.
In the winter, Huck’s father appears, eager to get his hands on his money. He forces Huck to leave the town and live with him in a small shabby house in the edge of the woods. Huck, one the one hand, is excited to get ride of his boring life, on the other hand, can’t stand his father’s cruelty, so he decides to ran away. He pretends to be drawn and hides himself in the nearby Jackson Island. The next morning, he sees people firing canons to make his body come up the surface of the river. When he first gets on the island, he does not see anyone until one day he accidentally comes to a pile of ashes that has just burned. He returns to the ashes in the evening and finds Jim, the local slave who escaped from Miss Watson. Although not sure whether it is right to be friendly with a fugitive slave, Huck makes friends with Jim. One day a two-story cabin drifts past the island, in which there is a dead man. But Jim does not allow Huck to come near it. Huck disguises as a girl and visits a house near the edge of the village and learns the news of his murder and Jim’s disappearance.
