Thank you for your reply. The sentence containing the word is: "Mr Ralnick was an elderly man with Hubblesque eyeglasses, vein-roped hands and waggling jowls."

I take it to mean that his glasses are just like the Hubble telescope -- they magnify a lot (and probably look funny given the thick glass.
