Hello, i was wondering why there is an 's' at the end of howstuffworks. Stuff is a plural word therefore it should be conjugated with the third person of plural shouldn't it?

Even though it refers to an array of things, "stuff" is not grammatically plural. It is an uncountable noun that has no separate plural form. As such, it takes singular verb forms (such as "works").
