Howsoever or however

Hello,

Are the following sentences correct? Do they have the same meaning?

"This dish always tastes good, howsoever (it is) prepared."

"This dish always tastes good, however (it is) prepared."

We can read the word, but we can't write it any more. The OED calls "howsoever" achaic in all its uses except one. People sometimes consciously and lightly employ its antique flavor with tmesis, for example, "Salah couldn't get one past Courtois at Paris how hard soever he tried." Use "however" when you are tempted to use "howsoever", as in "Salah couldn't get one past Courtois at Paris

Yes and yes, but please don't use 'howsoever'. This is the year 2022, not 1685.
