How's the Polish learning going?

Someone learns a Polish language and I wanna find out if he/she makes somes progress. Would it be correct the sentence like that:

“How’s the Polish learning going?” That is correct.
For your own learning of English, I’d suggest that your question should read:
“Some is learning the Polish language and I want to find out if he/she is making some progress. Would it be correct to write the following?”

Thank you very much. Somebody learns the Polish language but not at the moment so if the question like above is also correct? If I have to ask "How does the Polish learning go?"

Learning a language is an ongoing (continuous) enterprise. I would not change the wording of your enquiry unless you know that the student has stopped trying to learn. Then, you might ask, "How did your Polish learning go?"
