Grammar

however long a time ago

A sentence: This person, however long a time ago he lived, shall be remembered by all of us.

Do you think it grammatical? I don't think so, but I couldn't think of a way to correct it. I've searched other posts in this forum, but not even a loosely similar can I find.

Could you help me?

Top answer

Do you think it grammatical? Yes, it is fine. My brother, no matter how stupid a man he seems, is quite wise within.
