Despite the formal differences between "however" and "although" are there any substantial differences in meaning?
Could you for example transform the following sentence into the second one without getting a weird message?:
"Although he is overweight, he is really good looking"
"He is overweight. However, he is really good looking" or has it to be "He is really good looking. However, he is overweight."?
