"...how you felt all the while they were here"

Hi all

I understand that 'all the while' means 'for all of a period of time' (CALD). But does it sound natural to say 'I didn't know this was how you felt all the while they were here'?

The sentence makes sense to me and sounds alright to my ears but when I did a google search for the phrase 'all the while they were here', only several hits turned up.

On a side note, I hope everyone is doing fine. Please excuse me for vanishing without a word. It's just that a lot had happened and I needed time to think things through. I'm just glad I' am back on track now.Emotion: smile

BTW, I really like the facelift. It looks really professional and streamlined. Great job!

Peaceblinkfriend 'I didn't know this was how you felt all the while they were here' This is fine in my opinion, but it might be more usual to say "all the time they were here".
