Ring my intercom so I can buzz you in.

How would you write the whole 2 sentences please?
The intercom ringtone is too loud. When people call me from downstairs for me to open the building door/When people ring my intercom, the ringtone hurts my ears.

Do we say " ring intercom of apartment"?

In order for me to be able to open the door you need to to ring the intercom of my apartment.
