How would you write out this list?

Please rewrite this sentence with a list of things to be examined.

The medical examination include those things such as,

Eyes / Hepatitis A,B / Gastrointestinal / Cardio vascular / Central Nurvous System / Blood type

Simply I would rewrite it like this (reflecting J. Lewis's suggestions) and this version might go against the general rules regarding the usage of colons. Is this OK?

I would write this as:
The medical examination includes things such as: Eyes, Hepatitis A and B, Blood type, Gastrointestinal, Cardiovascular and Central Nervous System.

I would not capitalize the items in the list.

Also, I believe that it's a screen or test for hepatitis - hep is not actually being examined.

My use of "included" means that it's not a comprehensive list. You don't need to say "includes such things as" or "includes things such as."
