How would you use RANGE??

How would say this more clearly? How would you use "range" : being able to play more parts.

- I have a smaller range of parts I can play in a movie than people who are buff and tall and who have a wider range of parts they can portray in a movie. (how would you say this? It sound unnatural?)

Thank you

On the other hand, an actor whose talents limit him to play a narrow range of roles is a "character actor," and if he becomes associated with only a single role type throughout his career, he is branded as being "typecast."
