How would you say this please?
I don't even know if the phrasing is correct, maybe I might have to rephrase?

Nice shoes make a difference to the way you look.

I think the second one is correct, but it might sound better if rephrased as: If you wear nice shoes, it will make a difference in the way you look. I hope this is of some help to you.
