How would you have phrased this please?

Could you tell me how you would have phrased this please?

When picking the kids up from day care, you have to badge them out. You can just badge one baby out and they will take into account the time at which the first one was badged for the second one. / they will use the time at which the first one was badged for the second baby.

Thanks

I have no idea what that is supposed to be about. I have never heard of 'badging out',. and cannot guess from that.
