How would you go about writing it?

How would you write this sentence?
I'm not as confident when he shoots the ball that the ball will go in the hoop as I would be if she shot the ball. I am more confident the ball will go in when she shoots the ball than when he does.

Thank you

The first sentence separates ideas which go together. I would word it thus: I'm not as confident that the ball will go in the hoop when he shoots the ball as I would be if she shot the ball. So your second sentence is clearer.
