How would you express? is there a term in english?

Could you please tell me how to express this as in french there is a specific term "encaisser de l'argent"

I work at a hotel and each employee has a login code to identify the employee who's checked which guest in and out and who has "taken payment from" which guests

1 "Taking payment" means taking money from guests for payment.

2 I took money from Mr X for payment of his 3 nights at the hotel.

I'm asking another colleague of mine if

Could you please tell me how you'd express this?

3 Could you log the payment I took from Mr X under your login name so that the manager thinks you were at the front desk when the guest paid for their stay?

4 Each employee has a login code to identify the employee who's checked which guest in and out and who has "taken payment from" which guests.
