How well you score can affect your future

"How well you score can affect your future."

What does it mean? I did not get why "you score" is used, not "your score". in the sentence.

Thanks,
Ryo

It is just the writer's option, Ryo. 'Score' is also a verb: I scored 90% on the exam, so I scored very well. My score was 90% on the exam, so my score was very good.
