How to write letter to embassy to ask for urgent visa

can anyone help me to write letter to embassy.well i came from USA a bit later that i supposed to.so i send paper to get visa for one country a bit too late.well my ticket is booked and there is no refund.how to write nice letter to embassy and ask for help with getting visa faster.thx
