I had completed Bachelors of Biotechnology from India. My objective is to become a scientist at the leading university/research institute. I hope and believe that this PhD program will assist me to start my career as a scientist in the field of Biological science and will also perfectly satisfy my inherent inclination for the beauty of biology and pursuit of something new.
I was brought up in an educated family which nurtured a sense of scientific temper and ability in me to ask, reason and analyze. Biological science is really intriguing to me. After completing my high school, I opted to graduate in the field Biotechnology, Genetics and Biochemistry. During graduation, I had worked on few short term projects. This helped me develop strong interest in Immunology and Genetics.
It will be a great opportunity and honor to work on this PhD position, since this project focuses on interdisciplinary research. I hope and believe that a doctoral degree at your department will bring unique opportunity to start my scientific career. York University has a glorious history of research and renowned research faculty. I had walked through the webpage and realized that the research level is international, the environment is stimulating, and the projects are creative.
To achieve my pursuit of a doctoral degree, I have a strong foundation in Molecular biology and Genetics. I am fluent in written and spoken English.
