Letter Writing
How to write a letter to someone you don't know well.
Hello,
I am in a home economics class of about fourteen. For our final we had to pick a girls name out of a basket and hand write them a letter. It has to be at least one page (8.5x11). Here are the guidelines:
"you will need to write a affirming letter to the girl that you chose in class", "it should include praises, a Bible verse, and something that you are thankful for knowing about that person. The letter should be written on a 8.5x11 piece of paper and be well thought out, and something that if you receive, would be a blessing. " and "I have had a few requests to sign the letters so, if you are comfortable doing that please feel free…if not, you may simply sign it, Your Sister in Christ or something along those lines".
I think I would prefer not to sign it with my name....
So, this is my problem... I am more of a quiet person so I did not get to know the girl I chose out of the basket that well. Do you have any suggestions on how to make it a full page long? I don't quite know what to say.
(So far, from what I have written, it's about 1/2 a page long.)

Sarah, there is no trick to writing that makes up for not having good content, good material to start with. You simply need to learn more about her. If you are too shy to ask her questions directly, then ask other girls in your class that she is close to.
