Letter Writing

How to write a letter that goes against my professors wishes?

Hi There,

I'm studying my masters and it involves a practical hospital placement component. At placement I was quite severely bullied/psychologically abused. It has taken 3 months but my teachers have finally decided to remove me from the placement. However they do not want me to mention anything to the actual hospital. So the perpetrator will continue to bully other students, staff and volunteers in future as the workplace has no idea its happening.... I am trying to draft a cover letter to my complaint form to send to my professor.... Any advice? This is what I have so far (ignore the Blahs – privacy etc)...

Dear BLAH,

Thank you for your assistance on the matter of bullying at the BLAH hospital. I understand that BLAH University and the BLAH Hospital have a long-standing relationship and I certainly would not wish to disturb that. I do feel, however, that by remaining silent I am allowing injustice in the workplace to continue. I could not bare the thought of the psychological abuse I have experienced over the last couple months being shifted onto another student, staff member or volunteer in lieu of my departure. I feel strongly that silence will only create more problems for this professional relationship and that transparency will lead to this placement being a safer place for students in the future.

Please find attached my official complaint form for the BLAH Hospital. I hope you understand my decision.

Kind Regards,

So any advice? I want to ensure that it does not sound like an attack on them...
