How to write a date in a business letter showing month and year only
We are writing a business letter and want to use the date in the following format: showing only month and year. The question is whether it is correct to insert a comma after the month and before the year or if a comma is not needed.
For example: December, 2010 or December 2010
Top answer
Most style guides will tell you that when you do not have a date, there is no comma. So: December 2010
