How to word the heading

Hi. Let's say you have a list of 6 numbered words, like ones below, and they are numbered consecutively. Now, the numbers are important in that they'll be used in some sort of word puzzle. Now, if you've got the picture, how should I word the heading the tells what they are? Perhaps, should I write "List of the numbered words" followed by a colon, just like the example below? I hope my questions are clear.Thank you in advance for your help.

eg,

List of the numbered words:

1. pencil
2. chair
3. desk
4. table
5. shoes
6. shirt
