How to use "what we have done" phrase properly?

I found the following sentence on a website. What I cannot understand is why they have used "is create" in the following sentence. Therefore, I would really appreciate it if someone could let me know what are the grammar points associated with this structure.

What we have done is create a limitless cache used to render the web pages you view every day.

Furthermore, I could guess what they wanted to express through the above sentence is that they have created a limitless caches used to render the web pages in order to render the web pages you view every day. Is that correct?
