How to use the word "which"?

With a preposition, too. Like, by which; for which; on which etc. I really don't know how to use them so can any of you give me a good explanation and maybe some tips, as well? Also, I would like an example or two of this word (with a preposition) in a good, meaningful sentence if that's not too much. Thank you.

Ok, no problem. But what exactly do I write in the search engine? Examples of which in a sentence?

Go to Advanced Search ( http://www.google.ca/advanced_search ) and then under ' this exact word or phrase', type in 'of which' or 'in which', etc.
